BRIGHTON MUSIC CONFERENCE JUNE 2015
Friday 5th & Saturday 6th June 2015
Brighton Dome and Various venues throughout the City, Brighton, UK
Now in its second year, Brighton Music Conference is becoming one of the UK’s leading electronic music events. With a total of 44 panels, showcases and Q&A’s over two days, featuring representatives from leading brands such as Spotify, Beatport, Rinse FM, We Are Fstvl, BBC Radio 1 and Bozboz.
There was a fantastic turnout over both days of the conference, with packed Academy Panels in The Old Courtroom often running over due to demand to ask questions.
Bozboz were BMC’s strategic partners, consulting and delivering a successful digital marketing campaign for the conference.
Particular highlights of the Professional panels at the conference was one titled "IS SOCIAL MEDIA DEAD" featuring our own Mike Hollingbery, Joe Battimelli Social Media Consultant from TheAudience, Gareth Currie CEO and Co-Founder Influence Digital and Lucy Blair Director Motive Unknown. The topic for the panel was discussing the ever changing world of social media and the adaptive approach agencies have to take in order to remain relevant to their clients and the market place.
Another highlight was the CLUBS, FESTIVALS AND EVENTS: IS IT A LEVEL RAVING FIELD? panel with legendary promoter and personality Dave Beer (Back to Basics) and Reece Miller from We Are FSTVL, who got into an animated debate on such hot topics as Exclusivity contracts, proximity to other events, stealing audiences and marketing spends.
After the success of this year’s event, it’s definitely a step closer to achieving its goal of becoming the UK’s answer to ADE.Back to Blog
